Krezip receives a golden record a week after the release of a new album

                          More than a week after the release of their new album Sweet Excessive, Krezip received a golden record. The album is the first to release the band after the members decided ten years ago to separate.             Krezip received the golden record during the recording of the radio program Muziekcafé on NPO Radio 2. Singer Jacqueline Govaert did not see the golden record, which is awarded when more than twenty thousand copies have been sold, coming. “We are still in the fling of the sold-out concerts last weekend. That the album turned gold so quickly is really incredible and a wonderful icing on the cake,” says the lead singer. Krezip launched Sweet Excessive last Thursday during the first cloak show in the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome. The CD contains ten songs, including the hits Misplaced With out You and How Would You Feel. Band announced initiate reunion this year Krezip was founded in the late nineties and scored hits like I Would End and Sweet Goodbyes. The last performance of the band before the return took place in 2009 in the Heineken Tune Hall (now AFAS Are living). The six used to be can be seen again after ten years at the fiftieth edition of Pinkpop. Thanks to a show cloak at Pinkpop in 2000, the band broke through with a larger audience. “This year all numbers fall into place,” the band said. “It has been ten years since Krezip stopped and Pinkpop has been in existence for fifty years. A reunion used to be never an option, until one day we woke up and it suddenly became the only option used to be.”
