Avengers Endgame: Robert Downey Jr. did not want to compete at the Oscars

Marvel CreditsAfter the release of Avengers: Endgame 24 last April, fans and the Marvel team want to see actor Robert Downey Jr who plays Iron Man nominated for the Oscars. The movie got a gargantuan success in the box-set aside of business (2.7 billion). “Avengers: Endgame has everything to succeed. Worthy heir to Infinity Battle, the movie will delight fans as well as curious. Action, laughter and tears are the recipe for happiness for Marvel, “we wrote after watching the feature film in our review. And Disney has proposed several names for different nominations to the competition including those of the Russo brothers and those of Alan Silvestri (musqiue). Disney, however, did not submit the name of Robert Downey Jr which has saddened some fans. Many of them wanted the actor to be proposed and let it be known by ability of several online petitions stating “to have been very moved by the efficiency of Mr. Robert Downey Jr in Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame”. The latter, however, explained why his name was not on the list: he just did not want to compete for the Oscar, “I am so declared material that you have spoken because it has been query, and I said: “Do not do it,” said the actor on the set of host Howard Stern last October 7. Robert Downey Jr. did not specify the reasons for this refusal. The actor Iron Man also returned to the words of Martin Scorsese who does not consider the motion footage Marvel as cinema but as “theme parks:” I hear his notion automotive I think it’s like everything thing. We need several aspects of views to be able to advance, “says the actor. Despite the success of the movie Avengers: Endgame, Joker Todd Philips could well win in the future ceremony. For the moment, Joaquin Phoenix for his incredible performance is the favorite for the Best Actor Oscar.
