                                        09 (*********************************************************). 43              Online since today, 10. 20 Clock                                                Hitherto unknown texts by Marcel Proust have been published today in France. The volume “Le Mysterieux Correspondant et autres nouvelles inedites” contains short stories and sketches by the author of the famous romance cycle “In Search of the Lost Time”. The literary world was involved in the publication of the work Waiting for tension. Among other things, it is about homosexuality, which is why Proust should have waived a lifetime publication. Proust (1871 – 1922) did not shock his contemporaries and contemporaries want, said the head of the Paris publishing de Fallois, Dominique Goust. The author had originally written the lyrics for his first novel “Pleasures and Days” from the year 1896. He wrote them two or three years before the book was published, Gooss told dpa. Proust at that time was about 20 years old. The texts were discovered some time ago by the Proust specialist who died in January 2018 and founder of the publishing house, Bernard de Fallois. Later, Goust became aware of her as administrator of the estate.
